While in the UK Hema was a radio jockey for BBC Radio Manchester. Her programme, Eastwards Northwestwards,
was the programme for the local Asian community. While earning her ABRSM qualifications for the piano,
the flute, the guitar and singing, she was the lead vocalist and guitarist for the beat group Golden Eagles.
After shifting to Hyderabad in 1989, she started Keys Western Music Academy, the first of its kind in Hyderabad to
teach modern western music.
Hema uses the Suzuki method.
Training is one-to-one rather than mass classes.
Music Composition is undertaken for advertisements and events.
Orchestra (Western or Bollywood) is available for Parties, Banquets, and Conferences.
